MEET THE TEAM

SUSAN BOND
Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Practitioner, and Studio Director/Owner

Susie has over 10 years experience as a Pilates Instructor, as well as close to 20 years experience as a practicing physiotherapist, having worked in both London and Sydney. Susie also lectures in injury prevention and integration of the Pilates Method into Injury/Pathology Management at the Wesley Institute Dance degree department and for various Pilates teacher training courses.

Susie is member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Practitioner Level 2 Member of the Australian Pilates Method Association and a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science. She has a special interest in treating and training dancers, sports people with muscle imbalance, and in functional exercise rehabilitation for spinal dysfunction.

MIKE GREEN
Senior Pilates Instructor

After many years in Corporate IT, Mike re-trained to become a Pilates teacher with the Laban school of Contemporary dance in London, and qualified in 2002 with the Pilates Foundation (UK). He subsequently completed an MSc in Dance Science.

In 2003, Mike and his family moved to New Zealand where he set up his own studio teaching matwork and apparatus. In 2008, Mike and his family moved to Sydney and is pleased to become part of the teaching team here at Evolution Pilates.

Mike's approach to Pilates is to find the ease and flow in the movements, using the breath to create this ease, even in the most challenging exercises. 

Mike has extensive experience with rehabilatitive pilates as well as fine-tuning movements for the more advanced practitioner.


AMY GARRATT
Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor

Amy graduated as a physiotherapist from Hertfordshire University in the UK in 2005 and came to Australia in 2008. After working in the Royal London teaching hospital in the UK she brings a wide variety of experience in treating all musculoskeletal conditions.

After an own back injury and spinal operation Amy came across Pilates and has never looked back. Amy has under taken many Clinical Pilates courses, including pre and post natal Pilates. She is also a member of the Australia Pilates Method Association Level 2 Practitioner. Amy’s passion is using these Pilates skills and Physio knowledge in rehabilitating her clients.

Amy has also completed specialized training in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction in women. Her particular interest is treating pre and post natal women who suffer with incontinence and pelvic instabilities.

KHALI RIDGE
Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor

Khali developed her interest in Pilates and core related training whilst an elite athlete. Khali represented Australia and NSW world wide in Trampoline sports over a 15 year period. Khali's sporting background led her to pursue Human Movement Studies, a Graduate Diploma of Education (PDHPE) and a Masters of Physiotherapy.
Whilst training and competing at an elite level, Khali deveoped a back injury that almost forced her to give up the sport she loved. It was this experience that instilled the importance of ongoing spinal strength and stability training.

Khali is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Her special interests include working with gymnasts, Women's Health Physiotherapy, Real Time Ulrasound and Pilates based rehabilitation. Khali began Pilates under the direction of Susie Bond at Evolution Pilates. 

GEORGETTE STEPHENS
Certified Pilates Instructor, Massage therapist

Georgette Stephens has been a remedial, sports massage therapist for the last 5 years, working with Australian Rowing and Swimming Teams, and with the Sydney Swans football club. She continues as a remedial masseuse at Sydney Sports Medicine Centre, Olympic Park.

Georgette joined Evolution Pilates as a client looking to improve her posture and core strength. She studied the Polestar Pilates course in 2008 in Sydney, after she found her body changed dramatically for the better.

Georgette returns from travelling, to work at Evolution Pilates. She looks forward to sharing her passion for Pilates, combining her knowledge of the body and exercise training.

Jan Grinham
Practice Manager and Massage Therapist

ROB STALBOW
Integrated Osteopath

Rob qualified with Honours from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and has over 10 years of clinical experience. He has a degree in Applied Psychology and has undergone postgraduate training in Western Medical Acupuncture.

Osteopathy is a safe system of manual treatment that provides pain relief by improving your body structure and the way you move as a whole. The integrated approach includes as assessment and a treatment focused on several key elements - alignment, movement, organ function, breathing, prevention and more.
