Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Practitioner
Sharyn graduated in 1992 from Sydney University with a bachelor of Applied Science in in 1992. Since then Sharyn has worked in Australia, the UK and the USA, predominantly in private practice, but also has significant experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation in the hospital environment.
In 2012 Sharyn completed level 1 and 2 clinical Pilates training, and since then has been teaching regular Pilates classes. Through Pilates teaching Sharyn has developed a strong interest in women’s health and pelvic floor dysfunction and has completed a number training courses relating to pelvic floor and bladder dysfunction, and has worked in private practice treating these conditions.
Sharyn is passionate about helping people to strengthen their postural muscles through Pilates and to teach people how to achieve optimal movement patterns and postural awareness. She loves to practice yoga, and draws inspiration from Yoga and Feldenkrais in her teaching methods.
