The Garuda Exercise Method was (and is still being) developped by English instructor and ex dancer, James d’Silva. Garuda’s results are striking. Increased strength, flexibility co-ordination and endurance, with a greater sense of ease and well-being. Garuda offers a cardiovascular workout while teaching the principle of relaxation within movement. The result is a stronger, leaner body, improved posture and mental ease
Flowing interesting barre work challenges every part of the body. It mobilises thoracic and shoulder areas, tight from static daily postures like, nothing else. Leg work with arm pulling and pushing elements, stretch as well as bringing up a sweat!
Some past Pilates and movement training is desirable but not essential.
